War in the Pacific: Outbreak of the War
Acknowledgements
The source for these Web pages was from a
museum exhibit which was a cooperative effort between
the U.S. National Park Service and the Arizona Memorial Museum
Association, and was made possible in part by a grant from the Guam
Humanities council, in cooperation with the National Endowment for the
Humanities.
The "Outbreak of the War in the Pacific" guide book
is intended to provide visitors with a better understanding of the
events surrounding the outbreak of the war in the Pacific, the results
and effects, both direct and indirect, of that event.
Funding was provided by the 50th Anniversary (Defense
of Guam) Steering Committee, Government of Guam.
