This brochure was produced by the Historic American Engineering
Record (HAER), a program of the National Park Service, U.S. Department
of the Interior. The Yellowstone Roads and Bridges Recording Project,
conducted during the summer of 1989, was cosponsored by Yellowstone
National Park, Robert D. Barbee, Superintendent; the Rocky Mountain
Region, Lorraine L. Mintzmyer, Regional Director, and Rodd L. Wheaton,
Chief, Division of Cultural Resources; the NPS Parks Roads and Bridges

The fieldwork, measured drawings, historical
reports, photographs and this brochure were prepared under the direction
of Eric DeLony, Chief of HAER. The field team consisted of Mary Shivers
